CP PLUS Campaign Pockets the Silver Abby at GoaFest 2016
Goa, April 2016: CP PLUS’ campaign – Uparwala Sab Dekh Raha Hai bagged the Silver Abby at the coveted GoaFest, an Oscar equivalent in the world of advertising, in Goa this year. The campaign is currently making waves Pan India, and has clocked in a record viewership and recall value.
“This campaign was very important for us. Surveillance was an underrated subject in India yet immensely important. We needed to be disruptive in order to get the message across. It took us months of planning, strategizing, reviewing, and reiterations with Dentsu Marcom to finally come up with this. In the end, it was all worth it when the campaign secured an overwhelming response”, said Mr. Yogesh B. Dutta, COO, CP PLUS.
The campaign aimed to create awareness about the brand in unique way. It addressed some very common, everyday issues faced in life - ragging in college, eve teasing, notorious house helps, and how surveillance cameras could capture them all. The campaign effectively placed CP PLUS security cameras as a third eye, under whose surveillance no wrongdoings whatsoever could go unnoticed. Moreover, the choice of the tagline “Uparwala Sab Dekh Raha Hai” was the cherry on the pie – it helped the brand secure a unique place in the minds of its audience. The campaign took the market by storm, barely weeks into being aired.
The Uparwala Sab Dekh Raha Hai campaign was a first of its kind to highlight surveillance in India. It also won the brand a high recall value for the times to come. Receiving the award was nostalgic for both CP PLUS and Dentsu Marcom Alliance.
